INEVA is the new holder of the World Energy Award!

INEVA Çevre Teknolojileri AŞ, has won the most prestigious award of the world, “National ENERGY GLOBE Award Turkey 2017”.

Standing out with its innovative applications in the field of treatment sludge disposal, INEVA Çevre Teknolojileri, with the project produced as a result of R & D studies, received the World Energy Award in the national category. Participating in this platform including 178 countries with “treatment sludge disposal and energy recovery facility project”, INEVA won the first prize among 2 thousand projects thanks to its technology that helps keep the emissions of polluting gases low.

Nothing that after one year in which INEVA won the “Sustainable Business Awards” in 2016 in “Waste Management” category, again it has won an award in the global arena, Coşkunöz Holding CEO Emin Ataç said that, “These awards certify the success of our projects and increase our motivation as a whole group.”

Emin Ataç, who invested in Coşkunöz Holding's waste disposal business line and made it enter the environment technologies sector in 2016, continued his words as follows: “The system INEVA applies developed as a result of the R&D studies supported by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey and without needing the drying process, is the first waste incineration project commissioned with a 100 percent domestic capital. With INEVA, serving mainly for Water and Channel Administrations, Organized Industrial Zones and organizations with Treatment Plants, we produce and install projects according to the waste type and need.”

Stating that INEVA already has 6 facilities, Emin Ataç quoted that, they aim to establish 5 more facilities until the end of 2017 and the disposal of sludge with a capacity of 600 tonnes/day in total and in this context and emphasized that 900 tonnes/day steam energy can be obtained. In addition to these, saying that they have won two tenders opened by Kocaeli Water and Sewage Works (ISU), Ataç stated that, thus, they have started to establish facilities that will dispose of all the urban treatment sludges of an entire city for the first time in Turkey and produce energy with domestic technology. Stating that, after ISU (Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality İzmit Water Works) they will transform the sludge from Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone Domestic and Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facilities into electrical energy, Emin Ataç said that,  “These two projects we received in a very short period of time also show evidence of Coşkunöz's claim. Thanks to the facilities we will install, GAOSB, while disposing of the sludge by incinerating without drying process, will also obtain electrical energy”.

Ataç, saying that they will continue to grow by increasing the momentum in their investments and adding new facilities to the institutions, said that, “We are moving rapidly towards becoming a model group that will be exemplary both at home and global level. Our aim is to make beneficial and sustainable works in every activity we perform for both our country and society. With INEVA, we are taking and will continue taking important steps to achieve these goals.”
